Book Editors

  • Develop the timeline and structure of the chapters and book
  • Oversee and edit the writing of the chapters for publication
  • Oversee the discussion forums and teleconferences, i.e., keep discussion going, advise leaders as to core questions for their topics, see that leaders meet the deadlines, get their articles in, etc.
  • Develop 3 key questions for each section
  • Edit discussion board content for inappropriate material
  • Write the introduction article for each section
  • Publish the book

E-team Martha E. Banks

E-editors

  • Develop and oversee construction of website and discussion boards
  • Website will include: index of articles and discussion boards, registry for team members and editors, calendar page,
  • Develop links to other feminist webpages, and APA
  • Advertise discussion boards to other feminist listserve, POWR-L, Division 35 website, feminist and diversity newsletters.
  • Get photos of team members and representing images of leadership, collaboration, and diversity to develop photo gallery
  • Get voices and pictures for introduction articles
  • Support team leaders in developing Power Point presentation, and/or technical support for accessing website and discussion boards.
  • Mirror the APA website once complete

E-editor - Marlene Maheu

Feminist teams of 5-8 will be formed on topics of feminist leadership, collaboration and diversity.

Team Leader(s)

  • Input in convening team members
  • Define 3 core questions for their topic/discussion board
  • Initiate and moderate dialogue for their topic on the discussion board
  • Write the Introduction article to be posted on the website as the jumping off point
  • Schedule and moderate teleconference
  • Develop a Powerpoint presentation for the teleconference
  • Write the book chapter based on discussion board dialogue and teleconference.

Team Members

  • Participate in the discussion board
  • Develop, expand, and refine the issues under each topic
